Jillian's Trousseau started as the dream of our visionary designer and Founder. 

Her lifelong dream was to design beautiful things and one day own her own shop. Jillian studied merchandising management in her early years of study. Jillian sparked a passion for design while studying at Michigan State University in her early years. By inheriting a creative mindset, knowing how to sew and having a keen eye for detail, this passion couldn't burn out, but burn brighter as time passed.

She discovered her inspiration for Jillian's Trousseau in the fine fabrics, lace and beading used for wedding and boudoir attire in the from the late 1800s until 1960s. She started small projects which included finding Vintage slips draped in old lace, and cutting out beautifully embroidered designs from used wedding dresses.

By adding these designs to the slips she was able to bring modern interest and detail back to the forgotten staple item of women of the past.

Jillian's Trousseau has a mission to bring forward the beautiful traditions of the past into today's modern world.

This process brings the opportunity to all those interested in being apart of an incredible Wedding Tradition that started in the 1800s.
